Job Title: Scaled and Platform Abuse, Product/Program Manager

Responsibilities:

• Investigating High-Priority Trends: Dedicate 40% of your time to investigating high-priority, escalated, or high-prevalence, high-harm trends.
• Monitoring Ongoing Trends: Allocate 20% of your efforts to follow up and monitor ongoing mitigated high-harm trends.
• Strategic Projects and Developments: Contribute 40% of your time to strategic projects and developments.
• Program Management: Investigate and mitigate high-harm trends within your assigned area of responsibility.
• Product Management: Assist in developing requirements and controls to address known abuses.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with policy, product, program, engineering, and risk response teams to manage the end-to-end risk management process.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Investigate harmful trends, profile user behavior, and generate insights to improve detection and refine risk response strategies.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to developing best practices, risk indicators, tooling, and product improvements to enhance Trust and Safety’s internal products, processes, and tools.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Trust and Safety, Risk Management, Investigations, Anti-Fraud, Product/Platform Operations, or Cyber Security.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to employ hypothesis-based or evidence-driven investigations using SQL in a big data environment.
• Understanding of online behavior and how real-world motivations translate into digital actions.
• Experience investigating high-harm trends and threat actors across various markets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Long-term strategic thinking and ability to develop roadmaps and detailed plans.
• Proficiency in risk lifecycle activities and providing expert advice to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tools and techniques used in large-scale platforms, including feature engineering, metrics development, data visualization, and detection calibration.
• Understanding of technology capabilities and limitations.
• Experience in statistical analysis or machine learning, particularly with imbalanced datasets.
• Proficiency in building productivity tools using generic tech stacks.
• Philosophical or ethical approach to understanding harm.
• Fluency in a second language and culture.
