      Job Description:

      Privacy Compliance Lead

      As a Privacy Compliance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our global privacy compliance strategy. You will lead a team of experts to identify, assess, and mitigate data protection risks across various business functions, including e-commerce, video creation, education, and international payments.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Team Leadership: Oversee a team of 20+ professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
      • Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement robust mitigation strategies to safeguard sensitive data.
      • Compliance Framework: Develop and maintain a comprehensive privacy compliance framework, aligning with global regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.
      • Technical Expertise: Collaborate with engineering and information security teams to ensure privacy is embedded in all technical solutions.
      • Regulatory Awareness: Stay abreast of evolving privacy laws and regulations, adapting our practices accordingly.
      • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize privacy compliance processes and reduce operational risks.
      • Change Management: Lead organizational change efforts to foster a privacy-centric culture.

      Qualifications:

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Proven experience leading teams of 20+ individuals.
      • A deep understanding of data protection principles and industry best practices.
      • A strong technical background, including familiarity with cloud and modern systems architectures.
      • A solid grasp of domestic and international privacy laws and regulations.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in information security, computer science, law, communication, or a related field.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Relevant privacy certifications (e.g., CIPM, CIPT).
      • Experience conducting PIAs/DPIAs and implementing privacy by design principles.
      • A track record of successful involvement in GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, or ISO 27701 initiatives.
