Privacy Compliance Expert

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee privacy compliance and data security governance for video business operations to ensure adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements in target markets.
• Foster strong collaborations with legal and other teams to interpret compliance requirements, optimize risk identification and assessment processes, and enhance the efficiency of risk response and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with internal business and R&D teams to implement a robust compliance management framework, develop necessary technical infrastructure and process specifications, and continuously improve privacy compliance capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal business and R&D teams to establish a comprehensive data lifecycle security management system, design and implement essential technical infrastructure and process specifications, and promote the continuous advancement of data security capabilities.
• Lead or actively participate in various compliance and security governance initiatives to ensure project success and achieve desired outcomes.
• Contribute significantly to the planning, development, piloting, and deployment of compliance and security tools and platforms, as well as data-driven operations leveraging these tools.
• Cooperate with internal audit and internal control teams to conduct compliance audits, including but not limited to data permissions, cross-border data transfers, and app/SDK compliance.
• Leverage industry best practices and internal expertise to develop comprehensive knowledge assets, including professional solutions, action guides, and practical manuals. Provide internal training, consulting services, and contribute to external industry thought leadership.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Proven work experience in privacy, data protection, or cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience in implementing or assessing the implementation of GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent privacy regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate across diverse teams, countries, and cultures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven team player, quick learner, and effective communicator
