Software Development Engineer

Job Description

Join an agile team as one of the developers to develop a web solution for a leading semiconductor company, including, but not limited to, API, ETL, and database. You may work on both new and existing running projects.

Pre-requisites

• Proficient in Angular, .NET Core, C#, and SQL
• Knowledge of containerized deployment with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Implement the full software development process
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, and engineers to achieve elegant solutions
• Design and develop high-quality, innovative software solutions
• Continuously document, maintain, and improve existing systems and platforms

Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience Required

• 3+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 areas from the following:
  • Front-end web development (Angular, ASP.NET preferred)
  • C# and Object-Oriented Programming proficiency
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript proficiency
  • RESTful Web API development (ASP.NET Core, Node.js preferred)
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Understanding of database technologies (MSSQL, ORACLE, Snowflake, MongoDB, CouchDB)
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (bonus: SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, PowerBI)
• Experience with Python, cloud programming (CICD, Azure), or NiFi (a plus)
• Familiarity with source control systems (Git)
• Software Quality Assurance knowledge (a plus)
