IT Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of software systems in a highly automated semiconductor manufacturing environment, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement.
• Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of emerging IT and Manufacturing Automation trends to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization. Actively participate in technical and business analysis sessions to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Global Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with a diverse global IT team to foster knowledge sharing, leverage best practices, and deliver impactful solutions.
• Strategic Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted IT authority, providing expert advice and recommendations to senior management on process improvements, procedure enhancements, and software system development strategies.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality software releases through rigorous testing, verification, and comprehensive end-user training.
• System Maintenance: Proactively maintain software and hardware systems at the latest production release levels by applying timely updates and patches.
• Incident Response: Implement robust system monitoring to swiftly identify and resolve abnormalities, minimizing unscheduled downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems,¹ or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C#/C++, Java, Perl, HTML5, and SQL.
• Problem-Solving: A creative and innovative mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex business challenges.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is capable of responding to high-priority issues with urgency and precision.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage software projects effectively, preferably with exposure to agile methodologies.
