Job Description

The company is hiring multiple junior and senior data scientists to drive their AI, data science, and business analytics initiatives. The role involves working within an in-house AI and data science development team to deliver impactful features and solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and machine learning. The data scientist will collaborate with business stakeholders to create scalable ML/DL solutions and deploy them as API microservices for decision-making efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop AI solutions across various areas including generative AI, NLP, autonomous agents, and recommender systems.
  2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to build and deploy intelligent services and features that enhance decision-making.
  3. Build scalable ML/DL solutions and integrate them into business applications and workflows.
  4. Oversee external technology partners, ensuring data is shared for AI and data science product development.
  5. Work closely with application teams to operationalize AI/ML capabilities and integrate them into production environments.
  6. You may be posted to any subsidiary within the company group.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related discipline. A PhD or MS in machine learning or related AI fields is preferred.
  2. Intermediate programming skills in Python, with proficiency in algorithm design, data structures, and SQL. Familiarity with other programming languages such as Scala, Java, or C# is a plus.
  3. Experience with big data processing systems such as Spark and Kafka.
  4. Hands-on experience as a data scientist/AI engineer, especially in deep learning (familiarity with the “Introduction to Statistical Learning” textbook is beneficial).
  5. Familiarity with the use of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and tools like LlamaIndex and LangChain.
  6. Experience with GPU-accelerated frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is desirable.
  7. Knowledge of Bayesian statistics, causal networks, and probabilistic reasoning.
  8. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
  9. Strong communication skills for working with both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
  10. Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies is a plus.
