Data Analyst – Global Payment

Job Description:
The Data Analyst for Global Payment will focus on leveraging data intelligence to enhance payment systems and user experiences. This role involves ad-hoc reporting, dashboard creation, data product development, and close collaboration with product and operations teams to define and optimize system requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct analysis to support Global Payment needs, including ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and data tracking designs.
2. Identify weaknesses in payment products through data-driven techniques and implement proactive improvements.
3. Build data products to provide customers with insights and best practices in the Payments domain.
4. Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to define system requirements, develop data products, and improve business-supporting product features.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with programming languages like C++, Java, or Golang.
• Experience with big data platforms such as Hive or Spark.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Proven experience in supporting and optimizing business needs through data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a large-scale internet business.
• Background in internet companies or payments systems.
• Strong interest and expertise in data analysis and data mining.
