Senior IT Auditor

Job Description

A Senior IT Auditor is responsible for:

• Risk Assessment and Control Evaluation: Developing and executing audit programs to assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls in mitigating IT risks.
• Audit Planning and Execution: Leading and managing annual audits, including policy compliance, process audits, and technical audits of critical systems and infrastructure.
• Stakeholder Management: Interacting with various government agencies to conduct audits, provide recommendations, and monitor remediation efforts.
• Governance and Risk Assessment: Reviewing audit findings, assessing the overall state of ICT governance, and formulating mitigation plans.
• Technical Expertise: Possessing a strong understanding of IT security, COBIT, ITIL, and relevant security standards.
• Report Writing and Communication: Preparing clear and concise audit reports and communicating findings effectively to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates should have:

• Experience: At least 6 years of experience in IT auditing, with a focus on risk assessment, control evaluation, and security audits.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT security principles, standards, and frameworks, such as COBIT, ITIL, and NIST 800-53.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications like CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
