Manager, Cyber Risk & Compliance
As our Manager, Cyber Risk & Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization’s digital assets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust information security strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of security awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Policy Development:
Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines aligned with industry best practices.
Conduct regular security risk assessments, business impact analyses, and develop effective risk treatment plans.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Oversee compliance with security policies and procedures through rigorous audits, assessments, and monitoring.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, ensuring timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
Partner with internal and external audit teams to streamline audit processes and drive a proactive compliance approach.
Security Awareness and Training:
Develop and implement a robust security awareness program to educate employees on security best practices and emerging threats.
Foster a security-conscious culture by promoting awareness and encouraging responsible behavior.
Stakeholder Management:
Effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical personnel, to build strong relationships and gain buy-in for security initiatives.
Address concerns and resistance to security measures, providing clear explanations and demonstrating the value of a strong security posture.
Embed cyber risk assessment processes into various lines of business to promote a risk-aware mindset.
Technical Expertise and Advisory Services:
Provide expert advice and guidance to business units on a wide range of security matters, including incident response, threat intelligence, and data protection.
Stay abreast of emerging security threats and trends to ensure the organization’s security posture remains robust.
Your Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT risk management, governance, or compliance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Certifications: At least one relevant security certification (e.g., CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP).
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of control and risk management concepts, risk assessment methodologies, and common security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST).
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
