Cybersecurity Team Manager
About the Role:
As a Cybersecurity Team Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of highly skilled cyber security engineers. You will be instrumental in driving the delivery of exceptional security services, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of security.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development:
Oversee a team of cyber security engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Identify training and development needs, and implement effective training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
Technical Expertise and Project Delivery:
Contribute to complex security projects, leveraging deep technical expertise in network security, web/app security, endpoint security, security analytics, and managed security services.
Drive the resolution of escalated operational issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, and adapt strategies accordingly.
Business Development and Strategy:
Participate in presales activities, including defining service scopes, estimating efforts, and identifying potential partnerships.
Contribute to the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Quality Assurance and Process Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Implement robust quality assurance processes to maintain high standards.
Monitor and analyze security metrics to identify trends and potential risks.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, including leadership roles
Strong understanding of various cybersecurity domains and technologies
Proven ability to manage and motivate high-performing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Certification in relevant cybersecurity fields (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) is preferred
