Job Description

Make an Impact by

• Designing and implementing security architectures aligned with organizational goals.
• Conducting regular security assessments and developing risk mitigation plans.
• Leading incident response activities for detecting and recovering from cyberattacks.
• Performing vulnerability assessments and recommending solutions for security gaps.
• Managing and securing network traffic using firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
• Monitoring network for suspicious activities and anomalies.
• Ensuring compliance with industry security standards and regulations.
• Developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conducting security awareness training for employees.
• Collaborating with IT, legal, and compliance teams to maintain security posture.
• Assisting in internal and external security audits and remediation efforts.
• Maintaining documentation of security incidents and changes to the security environment.

Skills for Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role.
• Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and encryption.
• Experience with network security tools and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, VPN, etc.).
• Knowledge of operating systems security (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and penetration testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud security, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
