Data Engineer

Role Overview
As a Data Engineer, you will manage daily operations of patent data, including integration, parsing, and storage, ensuring its security, stability, and availability. This role requires strong programming skills in Java or Python, and familiarity with big data processing technologies like Flink and Spark. You will also optimize data processing frameworks to enhance system efficiency and support product iterations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of patent data, ensuring security, stability, and availability.
  • Analyze new data requirements and design appropriate data processing solutions.
  • Monitor and improve data quality, integrity, and accuracy through targeted optimization.
  • Enhance data processing frameworks and system performance to support rapid product data iterations.
  • Collaborate with data architects to upgrade system architecture, enhancing scalability and stability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, data engineering, software engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in data development.
  • Proficiency in Java or Python.
  • Familiarity with big data tools like Flink and Spark; performance optimization experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Linux systems and common operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive learning attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Basic understanding of data privacy and compliance, with the ability to work in a regulatory environment.
