Role Overview
As a Data Engineer, you will design and deploy both cloud-based and hybrid applications, emphasizing security, performance, and scalability. This role requires close collaboration with software engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure optimal application deployment. A strong background in cloud platforms and experience with serverless, containerization, and database technologies will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based and integrated non-cloud applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define application specifications and gather requirements.
• Implement security measures for cloud applications and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years as an AWS Cloud Developer, with experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and/or C#.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Experience with Git, Maven, and Linux/UNIX environments.
• Strong skills in SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Hadoop, and Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform/CloudFormation scripting, serverless computing, and microservices.
• Agile/Scrum experience with strong collaboration and communication skills.
