Job Description
The Management Decision Support Office within the Academic Information Office focuses on developing strategic analyses and institution-specific analytical projects. The role offers the opportunity to develop skills in data extraction, visualization, and stakeholder management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize data needs to develop effective analytics products that enhance healthcare milestones.
• Translate clinical and operational needs into data-driven solutions.
• Perform complex queries, manipulate large datasets, and analyze data to uncover patterns and trends.
• Own the development of end-to-end analytics solutions, including data extraction, preparation, visualization, and evaluation.
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with stakeholders, program teams, and management.
• Clearly communicate data-driven insights and recommendations through presentations, reports, and dashboards.
• Conduct data quality audits and perform data preparation and transformation tasks.
• Document processes and data lineage to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Work closely with data scientists, application developers, product managers, and other teams to implement analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Health Informatics, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in stakeholder management within a data science environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
• Skilled in using data visualization and management tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to build reports and dashboards.
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience in writing simple to complex queries for data retrieval and analysis.
• Experience in building data warehouses or data pipelines for analysis is a plus.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms and libraries is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write clean and efficient code.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and flexible in working across different areas and teams.
• Ability to deliver clear reports and presentations, effectively articulating observations and recommendations.
• A proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
