Job Description
As a Senior Data Scientist within the Data Science Search Team, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing user behavior and product data to extract actionable insights that guide product improvements. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and drive growth across multiple regions.

Tasks

• Analyze large, complex data sets to address technical and statistical challenges, contributing directly to the search team’s global objectives.
• Develop a metrics framework to assess product performance, track core metrics, and understand root causes of metric fluctuations.
• Make data-driven recommendations on experiment launches and measure the impact of changes.
• Validate hypotheses, identify growth opportunities, and guide improvement initiatives through analysis and scientific methods.
• Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to deliver insights and influence product strategy.
• Act as a domain expert to solve complex problems related to ecosystems, optimize recommendation systems, and conduct causal inference research to enhance analytical rigor.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally in analytics for internet services or large-scale C2C products.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools.
• Skilled in managing data extraction, analysis, and visualization in complex data environments, translating findings into business applications.
• Strong communication skills, able to simplify complex data for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and curious, with an aptitude for collaborative problem-solving.
