Industry solutions director, Asia

Our client, a global technology company is currently hiring a Director of Enterprise Solutions.

The Director of Enterprise Solutions, APAC will be an industry expert/specialist within the enterprise space to support specific vertical segments such as Financial, Energy, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, Technology and others.
This hire will be responsible for all aspects of a comprehensive industry solutions go-to-market approach from a sales, product development and marketing standpoint.
As a result, this individual must work cross-functionally within the strategic solutions, regional marketing, product management and sales teams in the APAC region.

- Developing strategies, tools and messaging to highlight specific vertical sector applications and line-of-business Communication Enabled Business Process scenario
- Identifying and defining  industry-centric solutions/requirements in conjunction with product development and strategic alliance teams

Specific responsibilities will include supporting regional sales and channel teams in business development, account planning and revenue-generating activities

Qualifications:

·    Senior level manager (director) experience working at all levels of an organization from IT to CXO

·    5-10 years minimum experience in solution sales/development/marketing roles in a particular industry

·    Experience managing cross functional teams from sales, marketing, product development, training, services

·    Must understand the sales process both indirect through VARs and directly to large end users

·    Knowledge of and success selling into Asia Pacific region

·    Ability to position technical solutions in terms of end user benefits and value add

·    Public speaking experience and comfort in presenting in front of customers an absolute requirement
